"Sino ka ba?"

I looked at the guy sitting next to our row and I realized that he looks familiar. I wondered where I met him.. We were in a ferry boat going to Marinduque.

I looked at him again. After another look he gave me a frown..."suplado naman neto...", I thought.
I never looked at him again..

We rode the same jeep going to our place..I was still unsure who he was.. Then I asked him.. "Kapatid ka ba ni Ilo?"

"Sino'ng Ilo? Eh ako na nga yon! Sino ka ba?" It sounded rude but I managed to give him a smile and answered back "Ako si Maricris.."

"Ah...kaw ba si maricris..hindi ka naman ganyan dati ah..." I didn't know how to react to his statement. Is it a compliment or what..

Who would have thought that I would meet the man I'll be spending the rest of my life with that day... and the rest was history... :)
